Machine wash
All ellen cheto garments can be washed in a washing machine at 30 ° C, but only with a wool program (!). After leave the clothes to dry naturally, put on a dry towel to avoid sprawling.
Hand wash
If your washing machine has no wool program or you want to wash clothes by hand:
• Soak the garment in soapy water or special detergent for wool
• Rinse thoroughly with the warm water without twisting
• For the pre-drying, wrap the garment in a towel and squeeze gently to absorb water without squeezing
• Then lay the garment on a towel to dry naturally
Tips & Hints to clean the stains:
Removing ordinary stains:
Apply soap on the stain. Rub with a hand and leave for an hour before rinse with cold water
Advices for different type of stains:
- Blood: moisten the stain quickly with a damp sponge. Gently rub with pure white vinegar and rinse with cold water.
- Oil / fat / sauce: scrape the surface of the stain with a spoon or knife. Then gently dab the stain with a cloth soaked in liquid suitable for wool cleaning.
- Eggs / Milk: gently blot the stain with a cloth soaked in white spirit. Repeat with a cloth soaked in pure white vinegar.
- Fruit / juice / red wine: quickly dab the stain with a mixture of 90% alcohol and water (ratio 3/1).
- Herbs: carefully clean with a soap and blot gently with a cloth soaked in 90% alcohol.
- Makeup / crème: blot gently with a cloth soaked in turpentine or white spirit.
- Urine: act as quickly as possible. Soak up as much as possible liquid with a dry sponge and then apply undiluted white vinegar. Then proceed as with bloodstain.
- Wax: scrape off as much wax with a spoon or dull knife. Place on the blotting-paper/towel and hunger with hot iron.ellen cheto is not responsible for failure to follow instructions for washing and care.
